Craiyon is an AI image service for generating and editing pictures. If you are looking for the generator, open Craiyon's official site. This independent Clout guide explains its current public workflow, free-versus-paid distinctions and a practical way to review an image before using it in a creator project.
We did not run a Craiyon generation, sign in, export a watermarked file or complete checkout. The cover is independently generated fictional editorial artwork. The original cut-paper bird brief and blank review sheet below are planning aids, with no provider output or generation-quality benchmark supplied.
Start with the picture you need to finish
Define the deliverable before writing the prompt. A square social illustration, a printed card and a transparent sticker need different crops and file checks. A picture that looks right in a gallery can still be awkward to use if the subject is cut off or the lettering is baked into an image you need to revise.
The current Craiyon homepage presents text generation, optional photo input, style and shape controls, and a way to exclude unwanted content. Its navigation also includes editing, background removal, upscaling and SVG conversion. These are public product descriptions rather than features tested through an account for this guide.
| Deliverable | Brief requirement | Export check |
|---|---|---|
| Social illustration | Readable subject and intended crop | Actual dimensions and composition |
| Card artwork | Space for an editable greeting | Text placement and intended print size |
| Sticker concept | Clear silhouette | Actual alpha and edge cleanup |
| Logo or vector direction | Simple shapes and exact wording handled separately | Actual vector structure if required |
Understand free images and public visibility
At our November 1, 2026 check, the official page described free image creation within limits, with a watermark and public images. Paid plans were described with private images, no watermark and higher-quality downloads. Check the current account setting and selected operation before assuming a draft will remain private.
Use shareable fictional material for an initial experiment. If the project contains private client references or an unreleased product, first confirm that the selected workflow meets that project's actual handling requirements. Our example uses a fictional bird illustration and contains no private client material.
Write one original illustration brief
Original cut-paper illustration of a cobalt blue bird perched on a coral branch, cream textured background, mustard leaf accents, crisp readable silhouette and soft paper shadows. Keep the bird facing left with one visible eye and a compact folded wing. Leave clear space above for a separately added greeting. No lettering, logos or extra animals.
Download the original illustration brief. It specifies a subject, medium, palette, direction and usable space. Adapt those decisions to your own project rather than adding unrelated style words until the result becomes difficult to evaluate.
Choose a shape that suits the final use and inspect the generated composition at that size. If a wing or branch is cropped unexpectedly, revise the framing instruction while keeping the subject and style stable. A small targeted revision gives you a clearer comparison than changing every part of the prompt at once.
Separate the style from the file structure
A cut-paper appearance is a visual style; it does not establish separate editable paper layers. A checkerboard-looking background does not prove transparency. A vector-like picture also does not prove the file is an SVG with usable paths. Inspect the actual exported file for the structure the project requires.
When a greeting, price or product label must be exact, keep that wording in an editable finishing workflow. For a simple example of separating artwork from exact text, use our birthday-card workflow. A generated illustration can support the layout while the text remains directly correctable.
Understand Craiyon plans and edit credits
The official pricing page lists Supporter, Professional and Ultra. Its inspected public text described monthly edit-credit allowances of 100, 300 and 1,200 respectively. It distinguishes text-only image generation from operations using an image input and edit credits.
Numeric dollar amounts did not appear in the pricing text available during this check, so this guide does not quote a subscription price. Open the current plan selection and checkout to verify the billing interval, charged total and included allowance. Do not substitute an old price from a search snippet for the selected offer.
Keep the planned editing work separate from the number of text-only concepts you want to explore. A project that needs repeated reference edits, upscales or another finishing operation can have a different usage pattern from a session of prompt-only drafts. Record the actual displayed charge for the chosen operation.
Review the image before expanding the set
Download the blank image-review record. Save the prompt, selected settings, returned file, observed defect and acceptance decision. It contains no prefilled success rate, generation time or export result.
For the bird concept, inspect the facing direction, eye, wing, branch contact and silhouette. Look at the artwork at normal display size and at full resolution. Then check the space reserved for the greeting. An appealing color palette does not solve a missing or malformed feature that matters to the design.
For a series, retain an approved baseline and compare every candidate against it. Similar prompts can produce different proportions or details. If exact character consistency is essential, test that requirement before committing to a whole campaign. Our character-consistency workflow gives a separate review framework.

Choose the next tool by the next deliverable
For a broad first-image workflow, use the existing AI picture-generator guide. This page owns the Craiyon-specific service questions; the broader guide covers planning and inspecting an image across possible production routes.
For a recurring creator and coordinated campaign assets, explore Clout AI Influencer and Marketing Studio. Clout publishes this guide and is a separate creative service. Its inclusion is a disclosed workflow alternative, not an independently measured ranking of output quality.
Review the applicable service terms for the intended use and keep the approved source and export together. This guide does not supply a legal clearance, a paid-account test or a guarantee that every generated image will fit a particular commercial project.
