Independent workflow guide by Clout
For the tool itself, open Higgsfield Ad Multiplier. For a practical production plan, start below with one source ad and a small set of clearly different creative directions.
What is Higgsfield Ad Multiplier
Higgsfield’s October 6 release note introduced a visual Ad Multiplier interface for reference-led ad variations. It lists one 4–30 second source video, up to 20 images, and quality options of 480p, 720p or 1080p. The intended changes can include the product, cast, setting or message.
The useful starting point is an ad whose structure already makes sense for your offer. A product reveal followed by a clear demonstration gives you something to adapt. An unrelated dramatic montage may be visually interesting while explaining nothing about the item you sell.
Choose the source for a specific reason. Perhaps the opening makes the problem obvious, the middle demonstrates a feature or the ending leaves time to understand the offer. Write down that reason before changing the subject. Otherwise, a remake can lose the part you wanted to keep.
Prepare a reference and a change list
Use a source you are entitled to adapt, then make a short input list. Name the product view, any character reference and any environment reference. Give each file one role. A product photograph that shows the straps clearly is a different reference from a lifestyle shot that explains the setting.
For this guide, imagine an original teal travel backpack. The source ad shows the bag on a bench, a hand opening its front pocket and a final full-product view. The production problem is to create location variations while keeping the bag recognizable.
| Input | What it should explain | What to inspect |
|---|---|---|
| Approved source ad | Action order and pacing | Where the product is visible |
| Backpack front view | Pockets and silhouette | Handle, seams and fastenings |
| Backpack side view | Depth and strap arrangement | Which features must survive the angle |
| Optional location image | Environment direction | Scale and space around the product |
Keep the original clip untouched. Give the source and accepted product references stable filenames. If you revise a reference later, label the new version rather than silently replacing the file used to judge an earlier result.
How to use Ad Multiplier in Ads Studio
The official workflow guide directs users to Ad Multiplier in Ads Studio, then to upload the reference, add images, describe the new scene and check the quoted credits. It documents using @ to identify attached references. Finished versions are available in History.
- Identify the structure you want to keep from the source
- Add the product and character references that define the new version
- Write a separate change instruction for each direction
- Review the selected quality and displayed total
- Generate the planned versions and save their identifiers
- Check each export against the original action and approved product references
Do not treat a thumbnail as an accepted ad. The important detail might appear halfway through a pocket-opening action, when the fingers overlap the zip or when the bag turns. Review those moments in the exported video.
Build three directions around one backpack
The cover illustrates three original directions: a studio plinth, an airport lounge and a rainy city bench. Those images are conceptual artwork, not results from Ad Multiplier. They show how a campaign can keep one recognizable product while changing the story around it.
| Version | Change | Keep | Question to answer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio | A simple sandstone environment | Bag geometry and the source action | Is the product explanation clear on its own |
| Airport | A lounge setting | The same product and feature demonstration | Does a travel context explain the use case |
| City | A wet urban setting | The same product identity and sequence | Does the location fit the audience and offer |
Create the airport direction from my approved source. Use the front and side backpack images to define the product. Place the scene in a calm airport lounge. Keep the bag shape, pocket arrangement and teal color consistent. Retain the source sequence of full bag, pocket opening and closing product view. Add no new product features or price claims. Show the proposed settings and credit quote before starting.
This is an original brief, not a tested command or a promise of exact preservation. The request makes the acceptance criteria explicit so you can identify what changed when reviewing the result.
Keep creative exploration separate from a controlled ad test
Three very different locations can help a team discover a direction. They do not isolate one cause of a performance change if the lighting, actor, hook and offer also vary. Name the purpose of the batch before generating it.
For exploration, accept broad differences and judge whether each concept deserves production. For a more controlled comparison, hold the offer, audience, landing page and other relevant settings steady while varying a defined creative element. Even then, traffic mix and small samples can make early results noisy.
If you want to test hooks, write the hook alternatives before generating. Keep a reference version in the plan and record which words changed. If you want to test a location, keep the intended message consistent. A file called final-7.mp4 does not explain either hypothesis.
Download the creative variation matrix to record each hypothesis, change, cost and acceptance note. It is a blank planning sheet, not an attribution report or a forecast of conversions.
Understand Ad Multiplier pricing
Higgsfield’s guide does not give a single fixed price for every job. The selected inputs, requested changes and output requirements affect the charge, and the interface shows credits before generation. Additional variations or revisions may add cost. Use that current quote rather than assuming that all variants cost the same.
Track the cost of accepted assets. If a batch contains four exports but only one passes the product review, the batch bought one usable creative. Add revision spend before comparing it with another production method. Keep generation cost separate from media spend when assessing the campaign.
Choose Ad Multiplier or another workflow
Choose a reference-ad workflow when you have a useful demonstration to adapt. Read the Katana guide when the main need is recreating an edit’s structure in Claude. Use the Genjutsu guide for performance transfer or selected footage changes.
