Three sequential three-second examples, each with a picture cut at local time 1.5 seconds
Sync control at 0–3 seconds: audio switches at absolute time 1.5
J cut at 3–6 seconds: audio switches at absolute time 4, picture at 4.5
L cut at 6–9 seconds: picture switches at absolute time 7.5, audio at 8
Sound A: low 220 Hz tone, Sound B: high 660 Hz tone
Half-second lead/tail is an exercise choice, not a universal prescription

For a real scene: retain complete speech and handles, move edit edges rather than slipping a speaking performance out of sync, and review the final export
