Do not chain one edited face into the next direction

Direction A
A restrained closed-mouth smile as the character hears encouraging news
Visible request: mouth corners lift slightly, eyebrows soften, eyes remain open
Avoid: open-mouth laughter, tears, a changed camera or new costume

Direction B
A restrained worried reaction as the character hears that the decision is delayed
Visible request: inner brows rise and draw together, lips press gently, corners lower
Avoid: tears, shouting, extreme grimace, changed camera or new costume

Review
Separate visible facial changes from intended story meaning
Inspect hair, face proportions, head angle, clothing details and background
Record actual deviations rather than assuming only the expression changed

Limit
These are intended fictional reactions in still images
They do not establish a real person's mental state, a temporally acted performance or an identity-preservation score
