INT ARCHIVE ROOM - NIGHT

A teal desk lamp lights a blank envelope and an ivory reply card. The rest of the room is dim blue.

MARA (OFFSCREEN)
I have not sent the letter yet.

On the card, dark ink reads: I KNOW YOU ARE HERE.

A single KNOCK sounds beyond the room.

Mara does not answer. The lamp, envelope and card remain exactly where they were.

Hold on the waiting desk.
